개갑장터는 대한민국 전라북도 고창에 있는 중요한 천주교 성지입니다.

개갑시장에서 조금 떨어진 곳에 위치한 천주교 순교성지는 한국 천주교 신자들에게 중요한 장소입니다.

1801년 8월 27일 개갑 장터에서 참수형을 받고 38세의 나이로 순교한 최여겸 마티아를 기념하는 곳으로 

성지는 작은 예배당, 성모 마리아상, 순교자들의 기념비로 구성되어 있습니다. 

개갑성지에서는 한국 천주교의 역사를 배우고 순교자들에게 경의를 표할 수 있으며, 가톨릭 신자들에게

인기 있는 순례지로 방문객들은 미사에 참석하고 성사를 받을 수 있습니다.

Located a short distance from Gaesipjang, the Catholic martyrdom site is an important place for

Korean Catholics. It commemorates Choi Yeo-gyeom Matia, who was beheaded and martyred at

the age of 38 at Gaegap Market on August 27, 1801, and the Holy Land consists of a small chapel,

a statue of the Virgin Mary, and a monument to martyrs. In the Gaepap Holy Land, visitors can

learn the history of Korean Catholicism and pay tribute to martyrs, and as a popular pilgrimage

destination for Catholics, visitors can attend mass and receive a ceremony.
