●사랑골 공소
박해 시기에 산으로 피해가 숯을 굽거나 옹기를 만들어 생계를 유지하던
교우촌이 박해가 끝나면서 산골을 벗어나 평지에서 새로 공소를 설립한
곳들이 있는데 사랑골 공소도 이에 해당되는 곳입니다.
●공소유래
1906년 김치삼 일가를 비롯한 다른 세 가족이 이주하여 교우촌을 이루게
된 것을 기점으로 1909년 공소가 설립되며, 이후 공주 지역의 못자리 성소를
이루면서 1957년 현재의 건물이 건립됩니다.
●공소현황
이후 종탑의 증축을 거치면서 1983년 성모상이 봉헌될 정도로 신자 수가
증가되었으나 모두가 도심으로 떠나간 지금은 대전교구 유구 성당의 공소로
남아있습니다. 공소 내부에 비치된 가계도에는 사랑골 출신에서 많은 성직자들이
배출되었음을 보여줍니다.

●Saranggol small church
During the persecution period, Kyowoochon, which made a living by burning charcoal
or making pottery, left the mountain and established a new Gongso on the plains as the
persecution ended, and Saranggol Gongso was also the case.
● Originated from the indictment
In 1906, three other families, including the Kimchi Sam family, moved to form a religious village,
and in 1909, small church was established, and the current building was built in 1957 as it formed
a pond sanctuary in Gongju.
● Status of indictment
After the expansion of the bell tower, the number of believers increased to the extent that the
statue of St. Mary was dedicated in 1983, but now that everyone left for the city center, it remains
the main temple of the Archdiocese of Daejeon. The family tree placed inside the small chuch shows
that many priests were produced from Saranggol.
