하개 공소 (장안 공소) - 보은 성당

 

● 소개

보은 성당 관할인 하개공소는 속리산 IC를 지나 속리산, 법주사로

이동 시에 국도에서 만나는 아담하고 예쁜 공소입니다.

 

● 유래

전승되는 기록에 따르면 1815년 을해 박해에 보은사람 안치용 외 13명이

대구 감영에서 사형을 언도받고 옥중에서 사망했다는 기록을 보건대,

충북 보은에서의 천주교의 시작은 대략 200여 년에 해당되지 않을는지요.

암튼 확실한 것은 1886년 6월에 한불 조약이 체결되며 드디어 신앙의

자유가 허락되자, 경북에 숨어지내던 교우들이 보은으로 이주해서

옹기를 굽고 토굴에서 생활하며 정착하게 되며 교세가 확장됩니다.

 

● 설립

하개공소의 역사는 1939년 개설되었으며 원래는 외속 서원 안도리에

설립된 것을 1961년 현재의 장내리로 이전 건립되었으며, 현재 공소는

인구 고령화와 신자 수 감소로 회장직도 공석이며 공소로 운영되지 않고

있습니다.

● Introduction
The Hagae small church of Boeun church is a small and pretty small church that meets

on the national road when passing through Sokrisan IC and going to Sokri Mountain

and Beopjusa Temple.

● Origins
According to the transmitted records, Ahn Chi-yong and 13 others who were persecuted

in 1815 were sentenced to death in Daegu Gamyeong and died in prison, so the beginning

of Catholicism in Boeun, Chungcheongbuk-do, is about 200 years old.

What is certain is that when the Korea-France Treaty was signed in June 1886, and freedom

of faith was finally allowed, friends hiding in Gyeongbuk moved to Boeun, baked pottery,

lived in caves, and settled, and the religion expanded.

● Establishment
The history of Hagae small church Office was opened in 1939 and was originally  established

in Andori, and was relocated to the current Jangjang-ri in 1961. Currently, the chairmanship

is vacant due to the aging population and a decrease in the number of believers.
